You should allow 10 minutes between applying your moisturiser & your makeup?
It gives your moisturiser time to absorb into your skin first.
I apply my moisturiser when i get out of the shower, get dressed, then go back to the bathroom to apply my makeup.

Product road test - minerals foundation
Each campaign, I buy a product to roadtest & post my experience with it on the blog.
Back in campaign 7 - which was 2 months ago now, i purchased Avon's Personal Match Smooth Mineral Makeup (i chose the almond shade as i thought it was the closest match to my skin colour)
Apparently mineral makeup is not such a new thing. I had read about in magazine beauty pages but thought it was just the latest fad. I'm converted & have been wearing it almost everyday - even if i'm not going anywhere (which is new for me!). I'm really impressed with how light it feels, i don't even realise i have it on. It doesn't feel heavy, or cakey. It's a great everyday wear makeup. I used to use Dove's tinted moisturiser but now i've barely touched the Dove tube since i my mineral foundation has arrived.
The description in the catalogue does say this is ideal for sensitive skin - i don't have sensitive skin so i can't comment on that from personal experience, but if anyone reading this has sensitive skin & has tried it, please feel free to post a comment below for others to read :)
The current catalogue (11) has mineral makeup special on page 123. You can purchase both the foundation & the Kabuki Brush for only $16.99 - a great buy really as the foundation alone is normally $26.99!

Christian Lacroix teams up with Avon for a new fragrance
This is such exciting news, its the front cover of the latest Avon catalogue! Chances are you'll have heard of Christian Lacroix, he's a french fashion designer known for his vibrant coloured pieces. This is no exception, the packaging is a stunning bright green colour and the fragrance is called "Absynthe"
I've had the privledge of a sniff of the product and i quite like it. It's a stronger fragrance, more suited to the evening than an everyday wearing perfume and would be great to wear for formals, cocktail parties, weddings, any kind of special occasssion - or perhaps for a "date night" with your someone special. At $59.99 it's also cheaper than most over the counter perfumes at your local department store.
As part of its launch, Avon is offering a free gift with every purchase for orders from the latest catalogue - an exclusive green Christian Lacroix cosmetic bag containing a glimmersticks retractable eye liner (Emerald shade), and a Glazewear Diamonds eye colour (in sage shimmer).
Do you remember those 'scratch 'n' sniff' books from school? There's a "rub & sniff" panel in the latest catalogue, so you can get a hint of the scent, so keep an eye out for the catalogue. I've also ordered some samples, if your interested in a sample, just ask!
